The Jeep was a challenge to assemble. My husband luckily is handy & was able to assemble it but the directions were no help. My granddaughter hadn't even put 10 hours in riding it & it just shutdown completely in the middle of riding it after it had been fully charged. My husband is an electrician and once again handy at fixing things so he took it apart and one of the wires going to the battery inside the front was completely melted. He was able to rerun the wiring and fixed it. The sad thing is it was $500+ & we haven't even had it 5 months & it has had to be completely rewired because of the wires over heating and melting. If my husband hadn't been so handy I would have wasted a lot of money for something that my granddaughter didn't get any use of. I feel like for $500+ it should have lasted longer than than10 hours of ride time. When we received it the back bumper was broke into 5 different pieces & I contacted the company. They did send a replacement after I sent photos of the broken bumper but I had to reach out several times before actually receiving it. I would not recommend purchasing if don't have the knowledge to fixing it when issue arise with it because you will have wasted your money!The Jeep is solid and fits two little ones comfortably. The rear bumper was damaged in shipping and we contacted the merchant, and they sent a replacement immediately. Great service and a good product.Cons:The controller isn't the best. Turning right or left is absolute, meaning it goes all the way right or left. I was expecting the controller to mimic the PS5 or Xbox controller. I would turn the stick a little and the wheels on the car would turn a little.The instruction for assembly isn't helpful. I had to watch an old YouTube assembly video. A plastic key goes into the wheel to keep it in place. We’ve taken the jeep all around the neighborhood and still had plenty of juice to keep going (I live in a hilly neighborhood and one loop is half a mile)! It’s pricey but well worth the smiles !This was the hardest thing I've ever put together, and the most frustrating. Many of the steps of assembly just did not go smoothly, parts not quite lining up or trying to understand instructions. Youtube was a must to get it assembled. The issue now is the front left wheel is defective, having a slightly flat part so the car has a clunking noise and bump as your drive it. You can hear and see the defect. I've reached out to the seller to ask for a new front wheel but so far no response. Also, the seat is warped/crooked so it doesn't sit completely flush, and the LED lights do not work on one of the rear wheels. Not sure how something like this can be returned, but I'd either want replacement parts or to exchange it, as it's a cool jeep and runs smoothly with the rubber wheels. If the seller reaches out with a solution I will update the review.My daughter just turned 3 in April of 2020, and I couldn’t wait to get a fun kid car for her, as that’s something I wish I could have had when I was little. I also have a 17 month old daughter as well, so I wanted to get something they could both enjoy at the same time.It arrived about a week out from her birthday in late April. I waited till the night before her bday to put it together so she wouldn’t see it till the next morning. After reading the reviews, I watched the YouTube video to get an idea of how the assembly worked and I had my cousin over at the time so I had help putting it together.It wasn’t nearly as bad or hard to put together as a lot of the other reviews suggested. It took us about 45 mins and I’m very glad I had help, the extra set of hands does help, but it isn’t necessary. Really just need to read the instructions, watch the YouTube video and be patient and smart about it and it’s not hard to do.I was so excited to see it light up when we turned it on that night in the driveway to test it out. I drove it around for a bit to drain the battery before plugging the battery into the charger for the night. We rolled it into the house using the little u-bar hitch on the back and had it sitting there in the living room ready for my daughter to see the moment she would wake up and go to the living room area.She was so excited when she saw it! We couldn’t even get her to eat breakfast because all she wanted to do was sit in it and play. So we took it out front and I helped her drive it around the front driveway with the remote. Both my daughters fit in it side by side easily. And they both absolutely love it! They just keep asking to go “again, again, again”.....I was well pleased with house fast it can go, and I like how it has 3 speeds. The controller was eAsy to sync, and it’s easy to use and I love that I can stop the car at any time with the push of one little button.Everything about this little kid car is awesome, and I’m absolutely happy with my purchase. The only thing I was bummed about was the the little KC lights on the roll bar don’t light up as there is not cords for them. Not sure why they’d design it to look like they’re light but don’t actually light up. It that big of a deal though, when you see all the other lights turn on at night, like the wheels and the headlights and windshield light, it really looks freaking awesome! All my neighbor’s kids are jealous!!!For the price, we were highly disappointed by it arriving with a broken bumper. The kids were too hyped up to tell them we wanted to return it so we kept it. It also took a really handy person a REALLY long time to assemble. We have found other parts fall off. I really wish to return this item but my kids are too attached. I cannot in good faith recommend this item in terms of quality as it relates to cost.That said, it’s a beautiful looking car if you look past the broken parts. The kids like the tire lights and all the bells and whistles. The remote control is definitely necessary as the vehicle goes way faster than other vehicles
