This is way cheaper than the Arbin and Maccor test systems that start at maybe $25K and go up to maybe $150K or so. It's even cheaper than the cheap Vencon UBA5, which starts at $1.2K, but it does a great job for the low cost. Granted the manual is entirely in Chinese and you have to find the USB drivers yourself for the USB to serial converter, but I can do that for a $100 tester.I I've gone through maybe 10 cycles now on a 6Ahr, 12.6V pattern pack, and it performed as expected. It sometimes has some voltage sway during charge, but that hasn't messed up the testing at all. Discharge doesn't exhibit the same sway. Overall I would buy it again. It has become an essential part of my lab.
