Cocoweb LED Picture Lights are the preferred way by many designers to light up valued paintings and artworks around your home or business. These lights have been specially tailored to fit a wide range of frame sizes and match any finish or color, while providing a bright warm-white (orange) hue to the canvas ensuring not to drown out the colors of the painting, and instead make them more vibrant. Advanced LED Lighting Each light comes with a pre-installed LED array (bulb), which provides over 50,000 hours of light, making replacement bulbs a thing of the past. The array has evenly spaced LED nodes to provide a balanced light over the canvas and eliminating hot spots. LED’s have numerous benefits to picture lights and one of the most important is the reduction in heat output preventing the oils in the paint from cracking or fading over time. Battery Operated These picture lights are setup to work specifically with external batteries. The battery included has a capacity of 20,000 mAh allowing the light to stay on for over 40 hours before needing to be recharged. The battery pack connects to the light using a 6-foot cable allowing the battery to be easily accessible if needed. The battery dimensions are: 1.125" H x 2.75" W x 5.5" L. The power pack is slow to charge and doesn't hold a charge as long as I had anticipated. It is large and heavy considering you will want to mount it behind the frame. The frame stands out from the wall more than I would like. The tube the LED lights are installed within is pretty cheap aluminum. I ordered the appropriate size as indicated for the size of my painting, but the light doesn't wash very far down onto the canvas. The written instructions that come with the whole package are not well written. You might need to have an intuitive approach to installation. As for the remote...I haven't used it; there are no written instructions, but you can find help for that on You Tube, although, for me, it was not a straight forward search.Also, I have used the powerpack to run he light for three hours. It sat idle for a couple of weeks and I recharged it. But the light will not turn on. I don't know where the problem is so now I have to have help removing this large heavy painting from the wall so I can trouble shoot.BTW, if you think you might want to return the light, the info says the accessories are not returnable...power pack, remote, etc.BIG waste of money...in my opinion.Update: The power bank that comes with the light is useless. It takes 5 hours to charge and when fully charged it will only provide enough energy to give the light a very feeble, very dim response. I have been researching replacement power banks and it seems that they are all the same....lousy. I guess the best solution is to get something hardwired.
